Migrating to v0.26.3: get_target() is deprecated

qrmi.primitives.ibm.get_target() is deprecated as of v0.26.3 to simplify the API, and will be removed no earlier than January 16, 2027. Use get_backend().target instead, which returns the same Target object.

How to migrate

Replace get_target() with get_backend() and access its target attribute:

# Before
from qrmi.primitives.ibm import get_target

target = get_target(qrmi)

# After
from qrmi.primitives.ibm import get_backend

target = get_backend(qrmi).target

Calling get_target() now emits a DeprecationWarning. To find all remaining call sites, run your code with python -W error::DeprecationWarning.
